Science Talent Search Top 40 Winner
Congratulations to Temple Douglas, our Finalist top-40 winner in the 2010 Intel Science Talent Search. Her project work has been recognized to be among the top 40 projects in the nation. In addition to her Finalist prize she has qualified for a week-long Institute March 11-16 for a more rigorous judging process to compete for additional scholarships up to $100,000. All the top-40 projects will be displayed for public viewing March 14, 1:00 - 4:00 pm in the Great Hall of the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, D.C. Top winners will be announced at a black-tie gala awards ceremony at the National Building Museum on March 16.

School Improvement Plan
As a FCPS member school, TJHSST is responsible for articulating a "School Improvement Plan" that contains two plans: the Student Achievement Plan and the Strategic Improvement Plan.

TJ Receives Accreditation
TJ received accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools following an onsite visit by a distinguished panel of educators. As part of this five year cycle of self-study, the staff at TJ has defined Mission and Beliefs Statement, as well as identified goals and action items.
